Run your page from Claude, ChatGPT or your own code

Connect an assistant so you can ask for changes in plain words, or make an API key for your own tools.

Plan: Free

Assistants and keys work on every plan. What they can change still follows your plan: scheduling tiles needs Pro.

Connect an assistant

  1. Step 1: In your dashboard, open API & assistants and copy the address under Connect an assistant: https://onelinkin.bio/api/mcp.

  2. Step 2: In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. Click Add custom connector and paste the address. In ChatGPT, add a connector under Settings with the same address and OAuth sign-in.

  3. Step 3: Sign in to OneLink if asked. The next screen lists what the assistant wants to do. Click Allow.

  4. Step 4: Ask for something, like “Add this week’s issue to my page” or “Which tile got the most taps this week?”

  5. Step 5: In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http onelink https://onelinkin.bio/api/mcp, then type /mcp to sign in. Cursor and other tools take the address in their mcp.json. The connect page has each one.

Create an API key

  1. Step 1: Open API & assistants and scroll to API keys.

  2. Step 2: Type a Name, like Zapier or My site. Under It can, untick anything the key shouldn't do.

  3. Step 3: Click Create a key and copy it. We only show it once.

  4. Step 4: Send it with each request as Authorization: Bearer and the key. The API docs have examples.

What it can change

  1. Step 1: An assistant or a key acts as you, on every page you're on, within your role.

  2. Step 2: It can add tiles from links, folders, section buttons and blocks such as text, FAQs and countdowns; change, move, hide, schedule, reorder and delete them; and change your page's name, intro, design, buttons, social links, announcement, link preview and Send everyone to one link. It can also make QR codes and short links, and check your page's health.

  3. Step 3: It can't upload a file from your computer. Add files from the dashboard, or give it the file's address.

  4. Step 4: It can read your subscribers, form replies and messages if you're an owner, admin or editor, and your insights.

  5. Step 5: It can't change billing, your team, your address or your domain.

Disconnect

  1. Step 1: Open API & assistants.

  2. Step 2: Under Connected assistants, click Disconnect next to the assistant. Under API keys, click Revoke next to a key.

  3. Step 3: It stops working right away. You can connect again any time.
