How it works
Three steps, and it works both ways.
- 1. Recommend up to six pages you like, each with a short line on why. They show on your page under your name.
- 2. When someone joins your list, they see those pages, each with a box to tick. One tap joins the ones they pick.
- 3. We tell each page you recommend, and they can recommend you back in one click. From then on, their new subscribers can join your list too.

What you’ll see
The subscribers you send each other.Insights counts, page by page, the subscribers and visitors your recommendations send out and bring in. You get an email when someone joins your list from a recommendation.
The reader’s side
Nothing is ticked for them.Their email goes only to the lists they tick. If a newsletter asks new subscribers to confirm, they get that email as usual.
Which lists work
OneLink, Kit and Mailchimp lists.One-tap joining works when a page’s sign-up box keeps sign-ups in OneLink or sends them to Kit or Mailchimp. A page that uses Substack’s or Beehiiv’s own form shows as a link, and readers sign up there.
Getting started
It’s new, so start with people you know.Recommendations work best between pages that already share readers. Send your invite link to the writers and creators you’d recommend anyway. When they make their page, you recommend each other, and both lists grow from there.

Recommend them anyway.Add their Substack or website, and visitors see it as a link. Send them the invite link for it: when they make a page, it switches over, and one-tap joining starts between you. If they later pay for a plan, you get a free month.
