About this tool
Engagement rate tells you how many of the people who could see your posts did something with them: liked, commented, shared or saved. Brands often ask for it, because it shows whether an audience is paying attention, not just how big it is. Type your numbers from your app’s insights and you get it both common ways.
By followers: add up likes, comments, shares and saves, divide by the number of posts, then by your followers. By reach: divide all the interactions by how many accounts saw the posts, which is fairer when only some followers see each post. Use the same way every time you compare, and use ten or more recent posts for a steadier number. Nothing you type leaves your browser.
