Forms, sign-ups and gates

Put a form on your page or give it its own link, lock a tile or a section behind a gate, and see everyone who replied in one list.

Plan: Free

Adding sign-ups to your subscriber list, Subscribers only gates and exporting responses as CSV need Pro. On Free the email is kept with the response.

Build a form

  1. Step 1: Open Forms & gates and click New form or gate.

  2. Step 2: Pick a template: Contact form, Newsletter sign-up, Event RSVP, Feedback or Booking request. Or click Blank form.

  3. Step 3: Give it a Name (only you see it), a Heading, a Button label and a Thank-you line.

  4. Step 4: Under Fields, change the labels, pick each field's type and switch Required on or off. Click Add a field for more, use the arrows to reorder, and the bin to remove one.

  5. Step 5: Turn on Email me each response to get every reply by email. On Pro, turn on Add sign-ups to my subscriber list and the email they give goes on your list too.

  6. Step 6: Click Make form.

Put it on your page or share it on its own

  1. Step 1: Open Grid, click Add a block under Add a post or a story and pick Form.

  2. Step 2: Pick the Form. Add a Heading to use instead of the form's own, and a Section if you like. Click Add form.

  3. Step 3: The form shows as a full-width card among your tiles, in your page's design. Move it like any tile.

  4. Step 4: To share a form anywhere, open Forms & gates and click Copy its own link on the form. The link opens a page with your name, picture and the form, and a way back to your page.

Lock a tile or a section behind a gate

  1. Step 1: Open Forms & gates, click New form or gate and pick Password gate, Email gate, Age check, Subscribers only or Members only.

  2. Step 2: Under What visitors must do, pick Code, Email, Tap to agree or My own fields. For a code, type it under Code visitors must enter. Click Make gate.

  3. Step 3: Open Grid. In the Gate box on a tile, pick the gate. On a folder, the gate covers every tile inside it.

  4. Step 4: To lock a whole section, open Sections above your tiles and pick a gate next to the section.

  5. Step 5: Visitors see a lock on the tile, or a locked card in place of the section. They fill in the gate once and every tile and section behind it opens for 12 hours.

See who replied

  1. Step 1: Open Audience. Everyone who signed up, sent a message, said they're coming or filled in a form is in one list, newest first.

  2. Step 2: Click All, Subscribers, Messages, RSVPs, Forms or Gates to narrow the list, or search by name or email.

  3. Step 3: Click a person to see everything they sent.

  4. Step 4: To see one form's replies, open Forms & gates and click Responses on it. Mark each one read or delete it.

  5. Step 5: On Pro, click Export CSV in either place.
