About this tool
Every app wants pictures in its own shape: square or tall for Instagram posts, wide for X and LinkedIn, very wide for headers and banners. Pick where the picture is going, and this tool makes a copy at exactly that size. Fill crops the picture to the shape, and you choose which part to keep. Fit shows the whole picture on a colour or a soft blur.
Everything happens in your browser, so your picture is never uploaded. Use JPEG for photos and PNG for pictures with text or flat colours. Keep words and faces away from the edges: apps crop the corners of profile pictures and headers on some screens.
